From North Asia, the gainers were led by brand platform 36Kr (KRKR) and video display maker LG Display ( LPL ) , which rose 3.8% and 3% respectively. They were followed by semiconductor company ASE Technology ( ASX ) and media company Phoenix New Media ( FENG ) , which were up 2.9% each.
The decliners from North Asia were led by semiconductor company Silicon Motion Technology ( SIMO ) and used car marketplace Uxin ( UXIN ) , which fell 7.1% and 6.3% respectively. They were followed by automotive marketplace Token Cat ( TC ) and online game developer The9 ( NCTY ) , which were down 3.3% and 3.2% respectively.
From South Asia, the gainers were led by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and computer hardware maker Canaan (CAN), which advanced 1.4% and 1.3% respectively. They were followed by IT firm Infosys ( INFY ) , which increased 0.5%.
The decliners from South Asia were led by telecommunications operators PLDT ( PHI ) and Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which dropped 2.3% and 1.5% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) and lender HDFC Bank ( HDB ) , which lost 1.1% and 0.9% respectively.
