Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Decline in Tuesday Trading

10:47 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were modestly lower Tuesday morning, as the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index was down 0.19% to 2,606.99.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by media company Phoenix New Media ( FENG ) and solar panel maker JinkoSolar ( JKS ) , which climbed 6.2% and 5.7% respectively. They were followed by travel company Tuniu ( TOUR ) and casino and resort operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited ( MLCO ) , which advanced 4.5% and 1% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by consumer lender Eason Technology ( DXF ) and brand platform 36Kr (KRKR), which fell 10.3% and 8.8% respectively. They were followed by thin-film liquid display maker LG Display ( LPL ) and education company 51Talk Online Education Group ( COE ) , which were down 6.2% and 5.2% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by telecommunications operator PLDT ( PHI ) and IT firm Sify Technologies ( SIFY ) , which rose 1.6% and 1.5% respectively, followed by telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which was up 1.2%.

The decliners from South Asia were led by IT firm Wipro ( WIT ) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which dropped 2.3% and 1.3% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) and lender ICICI Bank ( IBN ) , which lost 1.2% and 0.5% respectively.
