Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Fall in Friday Trading; Lose 2.5% for Week

11:12 AM EDT, 10/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts closed out the week lower Friday morning, declining 2.2% to 2 675,77 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index, which was down 2.5% for the week.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by computer hardware maker Canaan (CAN), which climbed 1.6%. They were followed by fintech firm Maase ( MAAS ) and thin-film liquid display manufacturer LG Display ( LPL ) , which advanced 0.3% and 0.6% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by solar panel maker JinkoSolar ( JKS ) and fintech company Pintec Technology ( PT ) , which fell 4.4% and 4.3% respectively. They were followed by lenders Nomura (NMR) and CNFinance ( CNF ) , which dropped 4.8% and 12% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by lender ICICI Bank ( IBN ) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which rose 1.8% and 1.3% respectively. They were followed by lender HDFC Bank ( HDB ) and telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were up 0.8% and 1.4% each.

The lone decliner from South Asia was IT firm Infosys ( INFY ) , which was off 2.1%.
