CANADA STOCKS-TSX hits record high on corporate earnings

Aug 6 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened at

record high on Wednesday, boosted by corporate earnings, with

global investors buying the dip after recent market weakness.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index rose 1.1% to 27,861.75 points

to a record high.
