April 29 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index edged
higher at the open on Tuesday, as investors assessed Prime
Minister Mark Carney-led Liberals' victory in an election
centred around the trade war with the U.S.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was up 0.08% at 24,819.43
points.
