Wednesday, as investors looked ahead to the U.S. Federal

Reserve's annual symposium later this week for insights into the

monetary policy outlook.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was up 0.05% at 27,836.85

points.
