Oct 1 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower
on Tuesday ahead of U.S. economic data that will provide
insights on its interest rate path, while the energy sector led
declines as oil prices slid.
At 9:34 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX
composite index was down 72.57, or 0.3%, at 23,926.21.
