Greek industrial output rises 10.6% y/y in July

Sept 10 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output rose 10.6%

year-on-year in July, after an upwardly revised 9.9% increase in

June, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Tuesday.

A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing

production rose 10.2% in July from the same month in 2023.

Electricity output was up 14.5% year-on-year with mining

production down by 1.9%.

Compared to the same month a year earlier, in July the

greatest percentage increase was recorded in tobacco products

division, while the highest percentage decrease was recorded in

mining of coal and lignite, ELSTAT said.
