Greek industrial output rises 6.8% y/y in September

Nov 10 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output rose by 6.8%

year-on-year in September, after an upwardly revised 2.8% drop

in August, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Monday.

A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing

production rose 7.6% from the same month in 2024. Electricity

output was up by 5.3% year-on-year, and mining production was up

by 2.5%.

Compared to the same month a year earlier, in September the

greatest percentage increase was recorded in basic

pharmaceutical products, while the highest percentage decrease

was recorded in leather and related products, ELSTAT said.
