01:58 PM EST, 01/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vince Holding ( VNCE ) shares surged past 80% amid heavy trading Thursday following an announcement late Wednesday that P180 acquired a majority stake in the company from Sun Capital Partners affiliates.

Over 129.7 million shares traded intraday, versus a daily average of roughly 245,000.

N2OFF ( NITO ) said Thursday it signed a binding term sheet with Solterra Energy to collaborate exclusively on renewable energy projects in Albania for one year, focusing primarily on solar energy and battery storage.

The company said Italy, Albania, and the United Arab Emirates entered a trilateral agreement early this month to develop renewable energy projects in Albania.

Shares jumped 44% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 115.1 million from a daily average of about 19.4 million.

SES AI (SES) disclosed Thursday contracts totaling up to $10 million to develop new electrolyte materials for Li-Metal and Li-ion batteries for automotive applications.

Shares advanced 39% as intraday trading volume soared to more than 207.9 million from a daily average of about 17 million.
