VCI Global Expects $200 Million Revenue With Solar Projects in Southeast Asia, Europe; Shares Up

10:23 AM EST, 12/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VCI Global ( VCIG ) shares rose nearly 16% in recent Friday trading after it said it expects to generate revenue of about $200 million over the next 20 years with up to 100 megawatts of solar photovoltaic projects in Southeast Asia and Europe.

The company said it targets to develop and acquire the projects within the next five years, with at least 70% of the 100 MW to be sourced from projects in Malaysia.

VCI Global ( VCIG ) also said it is targeting 30 MW of solar capacity in eastern and southeastern Europe.
