BERLIN, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Google's planned
5.5 billion euro ($6.41 billion) investment in its German cloud
infrastructure will secure 9,000 jobs in the country, a senior
Google official said on Tuesday.
"The economic multiplier effect of this investment will be
considerable," Philipp Justus, the head of Google in Germany,
said at a press conference in Berlin. "We estimate that our
investment will secure a total of around 9,000 jobs in Germany
each year."
