12:50 PM EDT, 05/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Activision Blizzard filed a petition Thursday in Delaware's Chancery Court asking it to validate their $69 billion merger.

The filing is in response to a Feb. 29 ruling by the court that stated that a board must, at a minimum, approve "an essentially complete version" of a merger agreement and that Activision's board did not meet that standard.
