Telangana assembly elections 2018: Can TRS eclipse anti-incumbency sentiment?

India's youngest state Telangana is all set for its second elections. It's shaping up to be a fierce three-way battle between incumbent Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), the Congress-TDP (Telugu Desam Party) alliance and the BJP.

As TRS tries to retain power in Telangana, interim chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao's son, K T Rama Rao, has said the anti-incumbency sentiment against some leaders will not affect the party's prospects in assembly poll as it will be "eclipsed" by the image of his father.
