11:30 AM EDT, 07/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- 3M ( MMM ) said Tuesday it has invested in Ohmium International, which develops electrolyzer systems used in green hydrogen production.

The industrial giant said the deal is part of its commitment to developing technologies for a low-carbon economy and decarbonizing its operations further.

Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
