Accenture Closes SOKO Acquisition

03:17 PM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture ( ACN ) said Tuesday it has completed the acquisition of SOKO, a Brazilian advertising agency known for developing brand stories through creativity, data, and cultural insight.

SOKO joins Droga5 Sao Paulo, part of Accenture Song, adding around 300 employees. Felipe Simi and Brisa Vicente, former co-chief executive officers of SOKO, have been named CEO and creative chairperson, and co-CEO, respectively. Felipe Belinky will be Droga5 Sao Paulo's chief operating officer, according to the company.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares of Accenture ( ACN ) were up more than 1% in recent trading.
