04:28 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Acri Capital Acquisition ( ACAC ) said late Tuesday its merger with Foxx Development was approved by 96.9% of votes at a special stockholder meeting on Aug. 27.

The deal, expected to close next month, will rename the combined company to Foxx Development Holdings and list its common stock and warrants on Nasdaq under the ticker symbols, "FOXX" and "FOXXW," respectively.

The company said it would file the results of the meeting with the US Securities and Exchange Commission later today on Form 8-K.
