09:10 AM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allison Transmission ( ALSN ) said Wednesday that it is collaborating with engine maker Cummins (CMI) to integrate the Cummins B-Series engine with Allison Transmission's ( ALSN ) eGen Flex electric hybrid propulsion system.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Allison Transmission ( ALSN ) said the integration, which is targeting the transit industry, will meet the US Environmental Protection Agency's greenhouse gas emissions standards for heavy-duty vehicles phase 3.
