Allstate to Sell Group Health Business for $1.25 Billion

05:21 PM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Allstate ( ALL ) said late Thursday it agreed to sell its group health business to Nationwide for $1.25 billion in cash.

Allstate ( ALL ) expects the sale to generate a financial book gain of roughly $450 million, with closing expected later this year, Allstate ( ALL ) Chief Financial Officer Jess Merten said.
