Alphabet's Google Expands Access to Developer Program in China

01:03 PM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) said Wednesday that its Developer Program is now available to developers in China.

The initial launch allows developers to create and access their profiles using WeChat, earn badges and customize their content feed, Google ( GOOG ) said in a blog post.

The company said it is also expanding its monthly subscription option for the Developer Program to India and Italy, increasing the number of supported countries to 13.

Google ( GOOG ) added that it is also launching new regional pricing to better support developers in India.
