04:09 AM EST, 11/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN ) is under scrutiny by the US Federal Aviation Administration after one of its MK30 delivery drones struck an overhead internet cable in Texas last week, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday.

The drone clipped a thin internet line after completing a delivery and then executed a built-in 'Safe Contingent Landing,' the company told Reuters, adding that there were no injuries or major internet outages.
