10:04 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Anika Therapeutics ( ANIK ) said Thursday its Integrity Implant System is now broadly available throughout the US after being in limited release since last November.

The system is designed to protect injured tendons and promote healing following rotator cuff and other tendon repair procedures. According to the company, the hyaluronic acid-based Integrity system can provide more than three times the suture retention and tear resistance strength compared with collagen-based implants.

Anika shares were 0.7% higher in recent trading.
