10:01 AM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- APA (APA) said Tuesday that it plans to launch a private offering of senior notes due 2035 and senior notes due 2055.

The oil and gas company said it will use the net proceeds of the offering to buy certain outstanding senior indebtedness issued by its Apache Corp. unit in cash tender offers.

Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, which could include additional purchases of Apache's outstanding notes.
