02:04 PM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aris Mining ( ARMN ) shares were last seen down 4.2% on Tuesday after it confirmed an incident that occurred on Sept. 22, at the La Reliquia Mine, a formalized third-party operation located within its Segovia title, but outside of its infrastructure.
The company said a collapse occurred in La Reliquia's main shaft access, with 23 workers underground at the time. It said all workers are in good health and rescue work is ongoing.
The La Reliquia Mine has been a partner of the Segovia Operations in Colombia since 2014 with about 60 employees and provides a small portion of mill feed that supports overall gold production.
"The safety of our people is always our highest priority," said Aris Chief Executive Neil Woodyer. "We will provide updates as the situation is fully resolved."
Shares of the company were last seen down $0.68 at $13.08 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
