08:33 AM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ATHA Energy ( SASKF ) on Tuesday appointed Rheal Assie as chief financial officer, effective Nov. 6.

Assie, who takes over from Akash Patel who resigned, has worked for Agrium, Cameco (CCO.TO) and was previously CFO of NexGen Energy (NXE.TO).

ATHA also said Erinn Broshko, managing director of a Vancouver-based private equity firm, will immediately join the board of directors, replacing Jeffrey Barber who has resigned.
