Auxly Cannabis Group's Q1 Loss Widens Despite Record Revenue

09:19 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. ( CBWTF ) , a consumer packaged goods company in the cannabis products market, on Monday reported a first-quarter net loss of $26 million, or $0.03 per share, 154% wider than a loss of $10.2 million, or $0.01 per share, a year earlier.

This despite reporting record revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $25.2 million, up 5% from near $24 million a year earlier, not helped by cost of sales of $15.672 million and total expenses of $18.646 million and an income tax expenses of near $16 million.
