Aware of Tesla Cybertruck accident in Texas, NHTSA says

Aug 5 (Reuters) - The National Highway Traffic Safety

Administration said on Monday it was aware of an accident

involving Tesla's Cybertruck and was seeking more

information from the electric vehicle maker.

The electric pickup truck's driver was declared dead as a

result of the accident in Texas's Chambers County, according to

media reports.

Tesla and the Chambers County Sheriff's Office did not

immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
