05:23 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Basel Medical ( BMGL ) said late Thursday it has paused the acquisition of Bitcoin digital asset amid ongoing regulatory scrutiny and uncertainty in the US regarding digital assets.

Basel and a group of Bitcoin holders agreed to pause the deal, given the "current lack of clarity on how forthcoming

policies may impact the transaction," the company said.
