10:47 AM EDT, 06/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bear Creek Mining ( BCEKF ) said Friday that its board has tapped Eric Caba to serve as president and chief executive officer and Catherine McLeod-Seltzer as chair.

Also, Zoya Shashkova will serve as chief financial officer, and Brian Peer as chief operating officer.

Barbara Henderson has been named vice president of corporate communications and corporate secretary and Eduard Roux as vice president of project development.

The board has constituted its standing committees for the following year, including the audit, compensation, nominating and corporate governance, and operating, safety and sustainability committees.

At the annual general meeting on June 6, the company's shareholders elected Susan Toews and Sandra Daycock and re-elected McLeod-Seltzer, Caba, Andrew Swarthout, Kevin Morano, and Alan Hair as directors.

Alfredo Bullard, a director of Bear Creek since 2019, did not stand for re-election at the meeting.
