12:25 PM EST, 12/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Benton Resources ( BNTRF ) on Monday said it has closed its private placement financing, raising more than $1 million in total.

The company issued 9.32 million charity flow-through units at $0.11 each. Each unit consists of one flow-through share and half a warrant. Each 36-month warrant can buy an additional share for $0.11.

Proceeds will be used to advance Benton's various exploration projects.

The company's shares were last seen down $0.005, to $0.07, near a 52-week low, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
