Blackstone, Thomson Reuters Consortium to Sell 17.3 Million London Stock Exchange Shares

01:53 PM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- A consortium of investors including Blackstone (BX), affiliates of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and GIC Special Investments, and Thomson Reuters ( TRI ) is placing 17.3 million shares in the London Stock Exchange Group, according to a Tuesday press release.

"Following successful completion of the placing, the consortium will no longer hold an interest in the company (LSEG) other than the BCP York option shares, and the relationship agreement will terminate in accordance with its terms," the statement said.

The price guidance for the placing is between 90.48 British pounds ($113.84) and 91.50 pounds per share, Bloomberg reported.
