Canagold Resources Reports "Encouraging" Assays from New Polaris Project in British Columbia
Sep 1, 2024 4:30 AM

08:47 AM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canagold Resources ( CRCUF ) reported Thursday sample assay results from an additional 26 drill holes from the resource expansion drill program targeting the North Zone at the New Polaris gold project in British Columbia.

Highlights include 20.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 4.4 meters, 18.3 g/t gold over 4.5 meters and 14.9 g/t gold over 2.1 meters.

"The results from this additional drilling are encouraging, as they highlight the potential to expand the shallow, high-grade resources already identified at the New Polaris project," CEO Catalin Kilofliski said. "We eagerly await the receipt of all assays and the opportunity to model this new mineralization."

Canagold's share price closed 1.7% higher yesterday at $0.30.
