Capri Holdings Fiscal Q4 Earnings, Revenue Decline -- Shares Retreat After Hours

04:43 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Capri Holdings ( CPRI ) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.42 per diluted share, down from $0.97 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.68.

Revenue for the quarter that ended March 30 was $1.22 billion, down from $1.34 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.31 billion.

Given a pending merger transaction, the company "does not intend to provide financial guidance."

Shares of the company traded nearly 3% lower in after-hours activity.
