Cargojet Q1 Adjusted Profit Jumps 85%, Revenue Stagnant

08:00 AM EDT, 04/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cargojet ( CGJTF ) , a provider of air cargo services to all major cities across North America, on Monday reported first-quarter adjusted earnings of $31 million, or $1.86 per share, up 84.5% from $16.8 million, or $0.97 per share, a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.62.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $231.2 million, slightly down from $231.9 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $231.9 million.

Adjusted EBITDA for Q1 was $78.4 million, up 4.5% from $75 million a year earlier.
