Cboe Australia Gets Approval to Operate as Listing Market
Oct 7, 2025 3:41 AM

06:15 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cboe Global Markets' ( CBOE ) Australia unit has received approval from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission to be able to list new companies on its platform, the regulator said Tuesday.

The regulator said the approval allows Cboe Australia to list initial public offerings and dual-listed foreign entities in direct competition with existing market operators, including the Australian Securities Exchange.

Cboe launched in Australia in 2011 and now accounts for 20% of the country's equity market turnover, or nearly $2 billion in daily trades.
