Civeo Shares Fall After Reporting Q3 Loss Wider Than Expected

01:36 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Civeo ( CVEO ) shares fell over 9% in recent Wednesday as the company posted a Q3 loss wider than expected.

The company reported a Q3 loss of $0.36 per diluted share, compared to an income of $0.61 per share a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.12.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $176.3 million, down from $183.6 million a year ago.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $168.8 million.

Meanwhile, the company narrowed its full-year 2024 revenue guidance to a range of $675 million to $700 million from $625 million to $700 million previously. Analysts are looking for $678.9 million.
