Clorox Likely to Deliver Softer-Than-Expected Q4 Results, RBC Says
Jul 29, 2025 8:55 AM

11:13 AM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Clorox (CLX) will likely deliver "softer-than-expected" fiscal Q4 results mainly due to issues related to Enterprise Resource Planning and timing, RBC Capital Markets said in a note Tuesday.

The investment firm said "tracked channel trends this quarter will be dislocated from reported organic growth" as the company "pre-ships product ahead of its ERP transition in July."

However, investors will also be mostly eyeing the company's 2026 outlook which will likely be mixed due to the ERP-related challenges as well as "potential tariffs, competitive pressures, and sluggish category growth," the note said.

RBC also noted the operating environment is "difficult, setting up an unfavorable risk to reward."

RBC has a sector perform rating on Clorox and $142 price target.
