Crane NXT's Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Decline; 2024 Revenue Outlook Improved

04:09 AM EDT, 05/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Crane NXT ( CXT ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.85 per diluted share, down from $0.98 a year earlier.

Five analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.84.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $313.6 million, down from $329.1 million a year earlier.

For 2024, the reputation management consultancy maintained its adjusted EPS guidance of $4.10 to $4.35. Five analysts polled by Capital IQ expect adjusted EPS of $4.26. Meanwhile, sales growth for the year is now expected to be between 5% and 8%, compared with the prior outlook of a 1% decline to a 3% growth. Five analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect revenue of $1.40 billion.
