Crypto Stocks Rise After Trump Announces Pro-Bitcoin Agenda

07:47 AM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Crypto stocks followed bitcoin's lead during Monday premarket activity, rising after Donald Trump vowed to make a national "stockpile" of cryptocurrency, ensuring the US dominates bitcoin before China does, if he returns to the White House.

Crypto exchange Coinbase Global ( COIN ) was up 4%, while bitcoin miners Bitfarms ( BITF ) and Riot Platforms ( RIOT ) rose 4.1% each. CleanSpark ( CLSK ) shares also increased at 5%.

Software firm MicroStrategy ( MSTR ) , the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, saw its shares increase 4.4% pre-bell.
