Curaleaf Opens New Cannabis Dispensary in Florida, Bringing Total in State to 65

08:29 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Curaleaf Holdings ( CURLF ) said Thursday that it opened a new medical cannabis dispensary in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

The company's newest branch, located at 1720 Southwest Gatlin Boulevard in Port St. Lucie, FL 34953, is opening its doors to medical patients today. The company said its newest dispensary brings its Florida store count to 65 locations, with 151 total dispensaries across the U.S.

"On the precipice of potential adult-use legalization in Florida with Amendment 3, we're proud to announce this exciting new opening in Port St. Lucie," Chairman and CEO Boris Jordan said. "This store opening expands access to medical cannabis for patients across Florida's Treasure Coast, and in the future we hope to open our doors to adult-use customers."

The company's share price fell 1.3% yesterday to $3.94 on the TSX.
