10:28 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Currenc Group ( CURR ) said Thursday that it has struck a deal to sell up to $33.0 million of its 5.00% unsecured convertible promissory notes due Oct. 8, 2027.

An initial $4.4 million has already closed, with the remainder to be drawn in tranches, the company said. The notes include 50% warrant coverage with an exercise price of $1.85 per share.

Currenc ( CURR ) said it expects to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes and possible debt repayment.
