Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.29.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $784.8 million from $704.4 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $735.8 million.

For 2024, the company said it now expects adjusted EPS of $10.40 to $10.65, up from $10.10 to $10.40 previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $10.33.

Shares of the company were up 2% in after-hours activity.
