Dana Shares Jump Following Q2 Adjusted Earnings Beat

10:30 AM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dana (DAN) shares were up 9.8% in recent Wednesday trading after the company's Q2 adjusted earnings topped analysts' estimates.

The company reported earlier Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.31 per diluted share, down from $0.37 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.26.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 fell to $2.74 billion from $2.75 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.76 billion.

The company said it expects full-year 2024 adjusted EPS of $0.80 to $1.30 on sales of $10.45 billion to $10.95 billion. In April, Dana projected sales at $10.65 billion to $11.15 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect adjusted EPS of $0.89 on revenue of $10.83 billion.
