Feb 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Tuesday:

** U.S. private equity firm KKR has sweetened its

offer for Japan's Fuji Soft by 4%, the latest salvo in

its protracted and messy bidding war with Bain Capital for the

$4 billion IT firm.

** Suncorp Group has completed the previously announced sale

of its New Zealand life insurance business after receiving

regulatory approval.

** Southeast Asian ride-hailing and food delivery company

Grab is in advanced talks to merge with its smaller

Indonesian rival GoTo as the firms seek to stem years

of losses, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.

** Discovery were set for their best session in

nearly six months after the gold explorer said that China's

Zijin Mining will invest A$24.1 million ($15.00

million), while Lundin family will invest A$45.1 million in it,

to acquire a 3.5% and a 6.5% stake, respectively.
