04:38 PM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Equifax ( EFX ) said late Monday that it has closed its purchase of Vault Verify, a deal aimed at expanding its data capabilities and enabling employers and lenders to make faster, more informed decisions.

The acquisition will enhance The Work Number by giving employers additional ways to provide data and broadening the information available to those conducting verifications, the company said.

Equifax ( EFX ) added that the integration will help speed decision-making for consumers applying for jobs, mortgages, social services, and other financial products.
