11:04 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FedEx ( FDX ) said Monday it appointed R. Brad Martin as board chairman, starting June 23.

Martin succeeds Frederick W. Smith, who recently passed away, according to the company.

Martin was previously the board vice chairman and will continue his role as chairman of the audit and finance committee of the board, the company said.
