07:04 AM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FTAI Infrastructure ( FIP ) said Monday that its Delaware River Partners unit's Repauno Port and Rail Terminal obtained approval to construct an underground cavern system from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

The approval enables the construction of two underground granite caverns for the storage of liquefied petroleum gas products, with a capacity to hold over 600,000 barrels each, it said.

Delaware River Partners estimates that construction activities will create over 500 jobs at the site along the Delaware River in Gloucester County, New Jersey, the company said.

FTAI Infrastructure ( FIP ) shares were up 5% in recent Monday premarket activity.
