General Dynamics quarterly profit rises on higher jet deliveries

July 23 (Reuters) - General Dynamics ( GD ) on Wednesday

posted a nearly 15% rise in second-quarter profit on the back of

stronger business jet deliveries.

The Gulfstream jet maker's quarterly profit came in at $3.74

per share, compared with $3.26 per share a year ago.
