09:49 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Huntington Ingalls Industries ( HII ) said Monday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries to expedite ship manufacturing.

The move is expected to support defense and commercial shipbuilding projects, the company said.
