Interactive Brokers Chairman Thomas Peterffy Discloses 25.9% Stake in Newsmax

06:28 AM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Interactive Brokers Group ( IBKR ) Founder and Chairman Thomas Peterffy disclosed a stake of about 23 million shares in Newsmax ( NMAX ) in a Tuesday filing.

The 25.9% ownership is held indirectly through Conyers Investments, making Peterffy the second largest shareholder of the company, according to Investing.com. The stake is worth over $6.2 billion.

Newsmax ( NMAX ) shares fell more than 23% in recent premarket activity on Wednesday.
